Our Mission in Action

Addressing Hunger & Food Insecurity

Much of our work focuses on hunger relief in our community. Our Little Free Pantry provides daily essentials to those in need, with volunteers ensuring it remains stocked with food, hygiene products, and pet supplies.

We also support:

  • The Bird Feeder at Dalton State College
  • CLILA-Coalicion de Lideres Latinos food boxes
  • Holiday meal programs for students and Accountability Court participants
  • Food boxes for Park Creek and Dawnville Elementary Schools
  • Saturday Sacks program & Meals on Wheels

Supporting Mental Health

Our mission extends to mental health initiatives, offering meals and funding for key organizations that provide emotional and psychological support.

Grants were awarded to:

  • Family Support Council
  • Treatment and Accountability Courts
  • Life Journey Ministry
  • The GreenHouse
  • BLOOM (supporting families of children with special needs)

Fighting Poverty & Promoting Literacy

We actively support agencies that address systemic poverty through community services and education.

Partner organizations include:

  • Sharing is Caring
  • The DEO Clinic
  • DOC UP
  • The Salvation Army
  • Friendship House (affordable childcare & literacy support)

Building Bridges & Breaking Barriers

We strive to foster deeper relationships with our African-American and Hispanic communities through partnerships with:

  • The Emery Center
  • The Church Women United
  • Juneteenth Celebration Committee
  • CLILA-Coalicion de Lideres Latinos

Global Missions & Disaster Relief

Beyond local efforts, we support PC(USA) Mission teams and contribute to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Fund for those affected by war and natural disasters.
