Nicole’s e-Pistle

Greetings, Friends!

I am writing to you on June 27^th (last Friday). As most of you know, I will be on vacation from June 30^th to July 13^th. At the time you are reading this e-Pistle, I will have had several days of rest at home with my husband and children, who spent the last two weeks in Florida with Bjorn’s family. Also while you read, my parents will be driving up in their motorhome and will arrive late Wednesday evening. We’ll camp in Ringgold during the weekend, taking day trips to Chattanooga, Pine Mountain, and Blue Ridge. On Sunday, while you worship and take communion with Rev. Dr. Ken McKenzie, we will leave Ringgold and head toward Boone, NC, where we will spend a day at the Tweetsie Railroad theme park on Monday. Next, we’ll head to Athens, TN, on Tuesday and tour the Mayfield Dairy, complete with a free ice cream tasting at the end of the tour!

I will let you know next week what the remainder of our vacation plans have in store. In the meantime, if you are in need of pastoral care, please call Dick Neely through Saturday, June 5^th. Walter will then be on standby and can be reached on his cell phone for the remainder of my time away.

Know that I am enjoying this time to rest and spend quality time with my family, but I carry each of you in my heart as we travel! I look forward to being back with you all again soon!
